'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League comeback

Kane achieves his hundredth goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has declared that his desire in coming back to the Premier League has faded and he is willing to negotiate a new contract with Bayern Munich.

The star striker is at the moment halfway through the four-year deal he inked when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the offseason of 2023.

The experienced forward has accumulated an outstanding 103 goals in 106 matches for the German club, playing a key role in them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which was the first major trophy of his illustrious career.

Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has recently mentioned that he would like to see Kane return to England, where he needs 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring milestone of 260.

However, the England skipper has now clarified that he is no longer as keen about returning home as he once was, and would definitely think about prolonging his tenure in Bavaria.

"In terms of remaining longer, I could certainly see that," he commented.

"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be open to talk and have an frank conversation.

"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so unfolds and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not considering about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have realized in my career is that different chances and different timings happen and things fall in place. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."

Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the historic top marksman for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the fastest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five competitions, attaining the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a honor had avoided him until he secured the German title last season.

Kane admits that he was not sure how he would feel after breaking his trophy wait, but now thinks it has made him eager for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.

"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.

"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
